<p>A decision was made yesterday: I am not going to put my current weight until the end of the challenge. The daily fluctuations are making me crazy. This is something that I feel is discouraging me. Hmm, like I didn’t know this before. I wonder why I still subjected myself to it.</p>
<p>Sunday is my standing Weight Watchers Meeting day. It was about “Moving More”. This is a subject that I always enjoy because I am an avid fitness fan. Activity has been such a fun part of my life for so long. I need to celebrate this more often. What activities do you do to stay fit and happy?</p>
<p><strong><em>Meals:</em></strong></p>
<p>Lean Pocket</p>
<p>2 “Street Tacos” corn tortilla, carne asada, onions, cilantro and green chile sauce. (delicious!)</p>
<p>14 oz of fruit and frozen yogurt</p>
<p>KFC 4 wings, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw and biscuit.</p>
<p><strong><em>Activity:</em></strong></p>
<p>Hiking for 90 minutes—This was TOUGH with the heat.</p>

<p>Michael asked us today: &#8220;What would you do if I were to give you $1 million for achieving your goal?&#8221; This is an awesome question (at least if money is a motivating factor. If not, change it to something that would motivate you highly.) It allows you to check all the little loopholes that you may be allowing yourself to do instead of giving your goal your all.</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s meals were NOT a version of a day&#8217;s worth of meals that would represent have $1 million as a carrot on my stick. I am going to Weight Watchers tomorrow for my weigh-in. I hope to have a loss from my last weigh-in 2  weeks ago.</p>

<p>Today, I joined a fellow physical transformer in a 93-minute cardio challenge. It was&#8230;WOW. I have never done that much cardio in one session while not going in any direction. LOL (I trained for a 1/2 marathon that I did not do). The first 60 minutes were a breeze. I even went as far as to surprise myself with the fact that I was able to stay on a piece of equipment for a 60-minute stretch. The last 30 minutes was another story. Actually, the last 10 were rough. But I sit here in the power of the finish. I did it!</p>

<p>Yesterday was a &#8216;rest&#8217; day that I decided to save for later. Today is that &#8216;later&#8217;.  I decided to eat a few more calories than I have in the last few weeks. I can feel my stomach is distended, full. I don&#8217;t like that feeling. It&#8217;s good to remember this feeling for later.</p>
<p>There is a bit of me that feels like I craved that FULL feeling. It&#8217;s something that I haven&#8217;t felt since I started this challenge. It is something that a part of me has missed. Only recently have I not been hungry at bedtime. During the initial week of this challenge, I went to bed starving.</p>
<p>There is another part of me that knows, intellectually, that the full feeling is not serving me or my weight reduction goals. Why is it that my body enjoys the feeling of fullness even if it leaves me feeling crappy? I hope to find that answer while leaving the excess at the side of the road.</p>

<p>Today is a rest day according to the challenge coordinator. I decided to save my rest day for another day. What that looks like for my weight loss challenge, I don&#8217;t know. I exercised at the gym for 45 minutes today and will probably do another 20 minutes tonight. I really enjoy splitting up my activity into multiple sessions.</p>
<p><em><strong>Meals</strong></em></p>

<p>String Cheese and 1/2 apple 1.5 points</p>

<p>I am feeling much more connected to my goal again. Today, I have scheduled a 20-minute morning walk break as well as my gym time. Weight intervals is on the agenda for today along with at least 20 minutes more of cardio.</p>
<p>We are just one day from mid-point of the challenge. By now, I should be at 20 pounds released if I were to be on-target for my impossible goal. I do believe that I can get to 15 pounds lost by the end of the challenge which would be amazing. I know that had I not started with 40 pounds in mind, I would not have been as dedicated. Knowing this is amazingly insightful to any future goal development. Woo hoo!</p>

<p>Today&#8217;s Weight: 225.0</p>
<p>I woke up this morning with a terrible case of sleepiness. I had a hard time getting out of bed. I went to bed at around 8:30 from what I can remember. When I got to the office, my ass was dragging.</p>
<p>I noticed that I was experiencing some disconnect from my Impossible goal this morning. Knowing that I want to make my goal a reality, I decided to create my own action day. So, I planned three workout/physical activity sessions. When 10 AM rolled around, I got my shoes on and went for a 20-minutes walk with my co-worker. At 12:30, another co-worker and I headed to the gym as we normally do. I added some extra &#8220;oomph&#8221; to my elliptical workout by doing 1-minute intervals that changed the incline and the resistance according the the countdown clock. It was great. The workout went by so quickly for another 50 minutes. My plan is to do another 20+ minutes this evening on the stationary bike.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been a little &#8220;hungry&#8221; today. I think it&#8217;s because I am tired. I, fortunately, have not indulged myself in anything other than what I have planned for myself today.</p>
<p>*I actually was hungry. My stomach kept growling&#8230;loudly. I ate more to compensate for the hungry, but stayed within my caloric/points intake.*</p>
<p><em><strong>Meals</strong></em></p>
<p>Breakfast: banana, 1 TB of peanut butter 4 Points</p>
<p>Snack: whole egg, watermelon 3 Points</p>
<p>Lunch: Lean Cuisine 5 Points</p>
<p>Snack: Peach and string cheese, Mr Salty choc pretzels  5 points</p>
<p>Dinner: <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">2 corn tortillas</span>, 1/2 cup rice, chicken with veggies, and black beans, pita chips 8 Points</p>
<p>Dessert: WW Sundae 3 Points</p>
<p><em><strong>Activity</strong></em></p>
<p>10 AM&#8211; 20-minute walk</p>
<p>12:30&#8211; 50 minutes of cardio combo</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:line-through;">7:30</span> 9:30 PM <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">20</span>+ 30 minutes stationary bike.</p>
<p>This was a fantastic way to get back into my Impossible goal. Doing 3 cardio sessions today was a lot more fun than expected. The last session flew by so quickly. I hope to get more of these Action Days in before the end of the Challenge.</p>
